Evamaria Müller, born 1985, studied Social Anthropology, Geography and French at the University of Freiburg. In 2010 she finished her Magistra Artium in Anthropology with a thesis on historical culture in Indonesian senior high schools. Her regional focus is Southeast Asia, particularly Indonesia. Her general research interests include historical culture (Geschichtskultur), revitalization of traditions, youth cultures, school cultures and the specific contribution of social anthropology to the understanding of these topics.
