Han Xiaorong is Professor and Head of the Department of History at the Lingnan University, Hong Kong. His research interests include modern Chinese and Vietnamese history, communism and nationalism, Peasant movements, ethnic relations, the Chinese Diaspora, as well as intra-asian interactions.
