Krisztina Kis-Katos held a lecture on Globalization and the poor at a TEDx Conference in Stuttgart in which she challenges conventional wisdom on the relationship between Globalization and the poor.
Does globalization really destroy local economic development and worsen working conditions for the poor? Indonesia’s experience shows that, contrary to what some may have imagined, the poor can greatly benefit from trade liberalization.
