LECTURE | Jürgen Rüland and Paruedee Nguitragool on "ASEAN as Negotiator in International Forums: Reality, Potential and Constraints" (29 August 2012, Singapore)
At 29 August 2012 Prof. Jürgen Rüland and Dr. Paruedee Nguitragool will present preliminary research findings of the project "ASEAN as Negotiator in International Forums: Reality, Potential and Constraints" at the National University of Singapore.
The research is part of the peoject "ASEAN Integration Through Law: The ASEAN Way in a Comparative Context".
The ASEAN Integration Through Law: The ASEAN Way in a Comparative Context Project is one of CIL’s (Centre for International Law, Singapore University) major research activities during its initial three years of establishment. The ASEAN ITL research project examines the role of law and the rule of law in Asian legal integration. The project involves over 70 researchers from Asia and around the world. The outcomes of the project are expected to support the efforts of ASEAN member states to achieve the ASEAN Community. CIL’s ASEAN ITL webpages contain important information about this project and would be of interest to anyone researching ASEAN or regional integration.
