The Chair of International Politics, in cooperation with Southeast Asian Studies at Freiburg and the Center for Transcultural Asian Studies (CETRAS) is organizing a Methods Workshop on 21 April, from 9 AM to 5 PM. Researchers, PhD students and interested students may register until 7 April.
The Department of Political Science, in cooperation with the Southeast Asia research group and the Center for Transcultural Asian Studies (CETRAS), is hosting a Methodology Workshop on 21 April 2017 at the University of Freiburg. We particularly invite young scholars at the Master or PhD level to take part in the methodology school.
The objectives of the workshop are threefold: First, it constitutes a forum for PhD students, post-docs and interested graduate students to gain input on new research methods and apply them to ongoing research projects. Second, it will attempt to bridge the gaps between disciplinary research and area studies to enable the development of cross-disciplinary as well as cross-area research designs. And, third, it provides an open platform for addressing problems encountered in current research and for intensive exchange between researchers.
