Mina Roces is Associate Professor for Southeast Asian history at the School of Humanities, University of New South Wales. She is Co-Leader of the Research Cluster Imperial, Colonial and Transnational Histories

Mina Roces is currently working on an Australian Research Council Discovery Grant funded project entitled "A History of Filipino Migration and Identity,1906-2010.”

Her research focus on Modern Southeast Asian history and Women in Asia with a specialization in Women's movements in the Philippines, transnational activism, politics of dress, and dress and identity.
